About the RoleThe Partner Platform team is playing a crucial role in our efforts to broaden, strengthen and better enable our Technical and Sales Acceleration Partnerships. Our Technical Partners are those that either have a native integration that we have built, or a third party integration that they have built, and we have an established relationship with. Our Sales Acceleration Partners are a set of Highspot partners that offer deep expertise in sales strategy & sales process consulting. These partners specialize in services that modernize traditional selling approaches with sales enablement best practices, sales methodology, sales training, and sales playbooks. This includes, but is not limited to, owning the Highspot Marketplace platform/product offering(s), owning our Partner Toolbox of integration points and documentation such as providing APIs and API-powered components for our partners to easily build our functionality into their tools, owning and maintaining Tier 1 Partnerships (from an engineering perspective, this includes building technical integrations and added functionality), and supporting other crews in their integration work with partners.We’re very proud of our customer loyalty and our rapid growth. Concurrent with this growth is the need to scale our platform, expand the surface area of integrations, deliver high-quality and timely features, and generally contend with an increasingly complex technical ecosystem. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer who will bring creativity and experience to bear as they work collaboratively with a talented team on these opportunities.Our ideal candidate understands how to build customer-facing software; they are a skilled communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with designers, product managers, and engineers; they are self-managed, curious, and resourceful. Some of the languages we use to build Highspot include Java, Ruby, Clojure, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apache Solr and Lucene, AWS, and Chef (but we don’t expect you to be expert in all of those).
